Race Report

Tasik Kenyir International MTB Challenge is a yearly UCI sanctioned mountain bike race jointly
organized by the city council of Trengganu and the Malaysian National Cycling Federation. Year after
year, top cyclist from all over Asia has attended this international race. This year was no exception.

Riders who participated this year included riders from Malaysia, Indonesia, Singapore, Thailand,
Vietnam and also Japan.

The disciplines in this year’s race were Downhill, Cross Country and mountain Bike Criterium.

PCRT's results:

1)  Risa Suseanty : 1st Elite women downhill
2)  Tan Hong Chun : 2nd Elite men downhill

With  these results, both riders has entered the UCI world rankings

with the following hard-earned points:

1) Risa Suseanty : 30 UCI DH points
2) Tan Hong Chun : 20 UCI DH points

It was indeed a fruitful outing for PCRT. We would like to mention

well as Oakley Singapore, as well as to Ramlan and to Pamela Teo
from Republic Polytechnic for working closely with us.

After this event, we’re off on a 5 hour drive to KL for the Kiara

Downhill Domination.
