:: BMX Clinic - 2nd March 2008 ::
:: Precision Cycle Racing Team ::
This is the 3rd time that Precision Cycle Racing
Team has offered this free clinic to the public. Our
very own Azman Omar, an old-timer in the sport
and a legend in his own rights in the Singapore
BMX scene, led the clinics supported by his team
of experienced and dedicated BMX fanatics, Ismail,
Ariff, and Farhaan. Also present at this clinic were
other BMX folks from the 80s and 90s who were
keen on developing the sport.
The day's lesson included:
Warm-up
One lap jungle trails/uphills endurance
Break (5-10 mins)
Track/gate practise
Speed chase and cornering
Break (5-10 mins)
One lap jungle trails endurance
Cool-down and wrap up for the day.
The attendance at the clinics have thus far been
very encouraging and, in keeping with our goals of
attracting talents to the sport and keeping the
sport affordable, we will continue to offer the clinics
at no cost to the participants.
If you would like to contribute to the cause, please
let us know. Any help to keep the interest going
amongst these kids would be greatly appreciated.
Azman will be at the track on most Sundays to help
with coaching, weather and other responsibilities
permitting. Please let us know if you or your kids
would like to attend so we can keep a look out for
you. The next clinic announcement will be out soon.
